Day 3 Sunday – Axelrod Expedition(17-07-2016)

What a magical day it was today perhaps first of all because the sun came out for a few hours.!! After breakfast we headed out on a game drive and we were blessed with quite a variety of animals and birds and of course splendid elephants!! After that we went to visit Cynthia and the ATE for tea and a chat, truly delightful to see this team of remarkable women. After make a plan for tomorrow we headed back to the lodge for lunch and a siesta and then we went out again and discovered that many elephants had finally left the trees and entered the swamp!! And then lo and behold 3 cheetah…a mother and her two sons. All in all a magical day filled with laughter and special scenes that made for an excellent Sunday!!
